Confirmation Interviews

The schedule below applies ONLY to Religious Education candidates.

 

 

Confirmation Interview Schedule

Below are the dates and times available for Confirmation interviews. Please look them over and drop off this page with your choice to Mass this weekend. You may just put it in an envelope with my name and drop it in the collection basket or leave it at the rectory. OR call me this week at 636-4373 with at least two choices for an interview time. If I am unable to take your call personally, please leave a message with your choices. I will do my best to accommodate those of you who call in your requests before March 1st.. After that you’ll have to take what is available I guess.

If Father Corcoran questions your readiness or if you have not fulfilled the requirements for your preparation for Confirmation process, then you will need to speak with Father after our interview.

To the interview you need to bring:

yourself, your Bible, plenty of notebook paper, pen, pencil and highlighter, your Blest Are We and The Gift of the Spirit books, as well as the Confirmation Formation Progress Report, your Scavenger Hunt and "The Church is Bigger than You Think" Resource booklet, along with a copy of the Beliefs and Practices and Prayers from the Archdiocesan Office for Catechesis website. There is a convenient link for you on our Saint Linus Religious Education website. Just click and it will give you the office website. On the far right you’ll find Resources. Go there and then to Catholic Spirituality. Both the "Beliefs and Practices" and the "Prayers" are there for your convenience. www.saintlinusreligiouseducation.org

Please come to the flagpole door of the school–door number 9. Your driver may park in church parking lot or along the EAST side of Lawler. There is no parking on the west side of Lawler. If, for some reason, you are unable to be present for your appointment, kindly call 636-4373 so I will not be wasting time waiting for you. The interview will take about one hour. We will go over your Confirmation test and see how you did. An adult must accompany you to the Confirmation interview. This may be a parent/guardian, your sponsor, a grandparent or some other significant adult in your life.
